polaroids, pergamon and pilsner

hello!

today we went to the c/o gallery for the polaroid exhibit. it was really cool, and typical berlin way the building was half of the experience. it was a post office and then got bombed out through out world war 2. so there was a section discussing the process of rebuilding the building. funny because one of the exhibits is in a basketball court that was made for the postal workers.

after that we split up since dori wanted to go see a ww2 museum, and i didnt want to be depressed for the rest of the day. at first i went to the national gallery and just looked at the first floor for half an hour and then left to go to the pergamon museum. it was really neat! all ancient history and remains, with one section dedicated to refinding these rarities post bombing in ww2 again. there was some really interesting peices from mesopotamia and ancient prayer areas.

we are going to go to the outdoor cinema again tonight since it is finally nice out! we leave berlin tomorrow at 4
